The Event
Join the John Philip Sousa Band of Colorado celebration of Colorado's 150th Anniversary. The band will perform in the Historic Elitch Carousel Pavillion featuring music from 1876 by our namesake.
The Purpose
JPSB of Colorado is about promoting and continuing to develop a first-class musical group, providing high quality musical performances, preserving the legacy of one of the United States great composers, and encouraging the musical education and experience of young aspiring musicians.
The Impact
We are excited to restart our scholarship program to provide opportunities to college goers seeking higher education in music, music performance, composition, or conducting.
Connect with Fans
It is the most gratifying feeling in the world to look out at our crowds and see the tears in their eyes during the performance of our patriot or nostalgic music. You can see when we have connected them to their many happy memories of times past.
Listen to Live Performance
Live music is always a once in a lifetime experience. Even more so when in conjunction with a sentinel event like the Colorado Sesquicentennial.
Enjoy our Food Vendors
Several local food truck vendors will be on hand to celebrate with us. Food is included with various sponsorships but also available for purchase at the event.
